Introducing First Colony Tombstone Cupboard Take a look at Liberty Hill's new miniature Limited Edition Halloween Stitching cupboard!!! The hand-painted pumpkin-colored cupboard has black accents of a tombstone angel, stars and a description of *what lies inside!* It measures approx 5 inches wide, by 7 inches high... the little front door curves to approx 9 inches high. Open the door to find your 'sewing smalls' tucked inside! First Colony includes a black hanging thread board, 2 thread winders, an envelope containing needles, and a scissor fob -- all hand-painted by Liberty Hill's Carolyn... and she's doing only 300 sets! (Scissors shown in the pic are separate -- Kelmscott's Little Gems -- any black scissors would be happy reposing in here!!!) A small shelf completes the little cupboard, so that you can tuck tiny stitcheries in there!! I think it's just the cutest thing!
A Stitcher's Companion Liberty Hill is releasing a neat little box set the end of March. A little hinged-lid 5-1/4 x 4-1/4 x 2-1/2 box, she's painted one of her tiny trademark scenes of evergreens, hill, and beehives on the top. Inside the box, you'll find 4 Stitching Smalls! All hand painted by Carolyn, you'll discover a 3-inch Starter Board in it's own wool pocket (that YOU don't have to make!!!), a small hand-painted wooden project ring (basically, its a little tag to attach to your ring of threads), a 4-inch painted ruler, and finally a matching scissor fob. All you need to add is a favorite pair of scissors -- because there is even a magnetic strip that is holding a needle hidden on the underside of the box lid!!! All very charming, very hand-done, VERY Liberty Hill... and very limited in edition!!! Our shipment is probably drying right now, and is scheduled to arrive the e3nd of March. Taking Reservations!!!
Americana Thread Board The newest little wooden palette from Liberty Hill is here! Handpainted... it features an Early American Flag beside the charming house, trees, beehive and sheep. Measuring approx 3-1/2 x 4-3/4, it has 5 holes to hold flosses or silks, and is charming tucked inside a special sewing case. If you are collecting the Thread Board set by Liberty Hill... this is your 6th board in the set! Christmas Thread Board Oh... another treat for your box of seasonal thread boards hand-painted by Liberty Hill... we bring you a winter house nestled in a blanket of winter snow! A companion to your Americana, Angel and Witches Inn boards, and the trio in the Thread Board Starter Set Box, these are fun to have and USE! 3-1/2 x 4-7/8 in size, each board features a rounded top, and 5 holes along the bottom edge to tie stitching threads. Use them, collect them, tie 5 pretty threads used in a particular piece on one, and display it near the finished piece, or use them in a framed needlework shadowbox... just anything!!! *And to all a good night* is painted in winter-y taupes and whites, with a toasty warm brick red house!

Nestled in a 2-inch cube, you get a set of four 1-1/2 x 3 inch winder boards that are actually too pretty to cover with threads! Painted in the same shades as their companion Christmas Thread Board, each winder features a different little painted scene. Just pretty darn CUTE! Haunting Threads! Another charming set of tiny thread-winders handpainted by Liberty Hill... this is a fun set of 4 1-1/2 x 3 winders... each painted with a different Halloween scene! A matching set to our seasonal threadwinders... you get a haunted house, witch hat, jack-o-lantern and spooked black cat. Each is painted onto a wooden winder, and the whole set stores in a tiny 2 x 2 x 2 open cube. Check out the other set, too... probably something you won't wrap threads around... but DEFINITELY something special for a neat needlework display!
Tiny Threadwinders Our Liberty Hill Painting Lady has been busy AGAIN... bringing us this charming set of miniature thread winder boards! Yet another cool thing to display beside your stitched samplers, this tiny box measures 2-1/4 x 2-1/4 and stands 2-inches high. Inside, are four handpainted thread winder boards -- each painted differently! Boards measure 1-1/2 x 3 inches each... and depict the 4-Seasons. The Spring Sheep is grazing on the hillside. The Summer pastoral scene features the fuller tree... Autumn has the log cabin, complete with warm fire in the fireplace, and Winter has a leaping reindeer. Technically, you're supposed to wind threads around the little boards -- something used in the stitched piece on display nearby -- but who wants to cover up the little paintings? Real cute, these would be neat beside any other of Liberty Hills cool hand-painted pieces!
Thread Board Starter Set Oh, this is the neatest set of painted thread palettes!!! Handpainted by Liberty Hill, this set features a small wall-box, 4-1/2 x 3 x 7, with a bed opening of 2-1/2 x 4 inches. What to store inside, you ask??? Why, your beginning set of seasonal and holiday hand-painted thread boards that can hold schnigglets of flosses from on-going projects... or threads that enhance the paintings on each board! As the name implies... this is a Starter Set of Thread Boards. In this set, you get the neat wall-box storage piece, labeled 'Thread Boards.' Along with it, are three 3-1/2 x 5 hand-painted boards, each having 5 drilled holes in the bottom area for threads, and a rounded top. 1805 Is the Summer piece, 1812 is a Christmas piece (I really have no idea why those particular years are featured! I like these anyway!), and Winter Threads would simply be a winter palette. Tuck them, 'threadless' into your wall box, or tie on something fun. Then... start adding extra Thread Boards! We have The Angel Board, and more! (These two have been on our site for some months...see them below... the Starter Set simply never made it on the website, because we never received enough at one time to feature them!!!) So... no stitching required... no time constraints... just ENJOY!!!
Hand-Painted Thread Boards By Liberty Hill for Historic Stitches... we are treated to these two wonderful thread boards that are hand-painted in rich, primitive colors. Both measure approx 3-1/2 x 4-3/4 and feature 5 holes for attaching 5 special threads. Perfect to display in a special sewing case, or with some finished samplers, or even to tuck into your stitching bag, these are exquisite! Angel is on black, she's cinnamon and buttermilk in color. Witchs Inn (actually a mis-spelling, I believe!) is black, green and amber. Each is signed on the back. and no... they don't 'go with anything'... they're just cool all by themselves! Please note... Because these are hand painted, they are often on backorder from the designer, so may take a month or two to come to you. If we are out of stock, we'll ship everything else in your order and ship these separately when they arrive.
